The video begins with Leandro. It could be interpreted as the character he is playing as well. He walks towards the camera and lip-synchs for the duration of the video. Various puppets appear all throughout the video as well. The video ends with the subject surrounded by many of the puppets shown.

Production blog: Edit making

Image
Editing took a few days. Let it be known that the schedule my partner and I created has mostly been disregarded. Not on purpose though. I just procrastinated making the very last shots of the film. It didn't take very long, but it made the editing process longer. I didn't do the actual editing. I was responsible for the majority of the filming process. The editing process was done mostly by my partner, He received help from a friend of his as well. I think that was a good choice. I myself had help by someone else with filming and puppeting. The process was similar to the last project. The clips themselves had to be chosen. We took multiple takes. some at slightly differing angles. We took more than expected during filming process. So after the best take was chosen, t usually had to be shortened. That or it was cut off to avoid a choppy shot or scene transition. There was noise in the background of filming, since we had to play the music for consistent lip-synching, so this had

Production Blog: Filming time

Once I had the props ready, it was time to film. It took a while to decide location.  I texted my partner  over it and decided on a park. I picked on close to the school. I thought it would be more convenient since we both knew the area. My mother picked up my friend before driving me to the park. She was there to help with camera work and puppeting. We arrived at the park shortly after. My partner arrived on scene in his own car. It was smaller than it appeared on the internet, but we made it work. I brought all the props in a big bag for us to use. Thankfully it all stayed together. We got to work right away.  I was the one puppeting and my friend held the camera. As planned, my partner did all of the acting. He even held a puppet for one of the shots. The only hinderance was the weather. It started to get cloudy after a while of filming. As a result, the last shot suffered. No rain, but clouds and wind. Despite that, we got most everything done. I have yet to film the last two shot

Production blog: Prop construction

Image
After buying all the supplies I needed, it was time to construct the actual puppets and props. I began with painting the paper bags. First I had to cut the handles at the end, so that I could out my hand in the bag and puppet without issue. It took more layers of paint than I imagined. It took several times to get my desired color on the puppets. This was probably the main reason it took a few layers. They took a long time to dry as well, which makes sense. I tried to mix in the white paint I purchased with my old acrylic pants, but it was of low quality, so I made do without it. The brushes worked out fine. To be fair, the sponge brushes were good, the normal paint brushes could have been better. Other than the bit of struggle with the paper bags, I painted the other props with no issue.  The elephant was wooden so it took several layers of gray, but it turned out nice, especially with the googly eye, it was pretty cute. I thought about making the bee puppet out of paper, but I had h
