Production Blog: Filming time

Once I had the props ready, it was time to film. It took a while to decide location.  I texted my partner  over it and decided on a park. I picked on close to the school. I thought it would be more convenient since we both knew the area. My mother picked up my friend before driving me to the park. She was there to help with camera work and puppeting. We arrived at the park shortly after. My partner arrived on scene in his own car. It was smaller than it appeared on the internet, but we made it work. I brought all the props in a big bag for us to use. Thankfully it all stayed together. We got to work right away.

I was the one puppeting and my friend held the camera. As planned, my partner did all of the acting. He even held a puppet for one of the shots. The only hinderance was the weather. It started to get cloudy after a while of filming. As a result, the last shot suffered. No rain, but clouds and wind. Despite that, we got most everything done. I have yet to film the last two shots we need, so I plan to do it soon.
