Changes

I ended up using my mothers phone to edit with the app I’m used to. But since I have no space to download and send my original work, I had to start over. But that gives me room to make changes from the review. I made the lighting a little better on the shots where the quality was less than ideal. I also chose slightly better music. The jazzy thing wasn’t cutting it. I chose something a little more slice of life-y and relaxing, which maybe fits the tone of a drama. At least the start, when it’s less than dramatic. The song is royalty free for convenience. It’s called Pancake, which I think is just delightful. Many of the songs by the artist has food names. Which funnily enough is something Jack Stauber, my first choice in song artist, did for an Album for his Adult Swim shorts a while back.

I reshot one of my solo shots. It’s the water bottle reaction shot. I feel like my acting was less than Oscar-worthy in the original shot. Putting on the same outfit and getting the lighting right was a bit of a pain. I filmed at the appropriate time of day as well. Mostly because it was just the one shot, I wasn’t under as much of a time constraint. Speaking of time constraints, I was initially worried about that since I had to start over with the editing, but it turned out to not be a problem. Granted, I’m not done yet, but since I know how I want it too look and sound, I’m not worried about not getting it done in time. My only concern is the title font, I’m not sure hot to get it to look the way I want. I’m sure I’ll figure it out. I might watch a tutorial for the app.
