My group

As I learned last year, I work better without a group. This was the case last year, anyway. I worked both alone and with a group last year, for different projects. It seems that scheduling with other students caused a lot of problems on its own. I don't live close to the school, and by extension, many of my classmates. This was the main scheduling problem. Grouping also leads to creative differences. It also leads to miscommunication, especially in my case, where I tend to communicate digitally. The workload ended up being less, but not enough to where I would work with a teammate or group again. The cons outweighed the pros.

The pros to working alone are pretty great, I would say. I can choose the story and genre for myself. The music can be to my taste, as can all the shots. It also completely eliminates the scheduling issue. Well, not completely, as I need another actor if not a few. However, I can schedule the actors according to me, since they aren't working behind the scenes. The less people behind the scenes, the easier it is to get things done, in this case. Also I don't have to worry about updates coming consistently, as I myself am solely in charge of them. That and finding/ buying reasonable props or other needed things to film. I might even utilize new filming techniques, something only I would have disposal to, like ways to prop up my phone with selfie sticks and such.
