The song itself itself is a satire comedy piece on the nature of children's shows, how capitalism is portrayed in the media, as well as how minority voices tend to be silenced. But funnily enough we will be cutting it down to just a fun little Sesame Street-esque song. Children's songs is our genre of choice.
CAMS:
Camera-
Camera angles tend to be straightforward, never too complicated. The occasional zoom in.
Angles- Mostly uses eye level. Often more sophisticated angles will be used to portray underlying themes or messages. Such things are not usually present in videos with children in mind.
Movement- Unless it utilizes choreography, movements of actors stay in the same place or walk around a bit. The camera will usually stay in the same place as well. Sometimes the camera will gently move with or closer to the subject. It doesn't move too harshly or in a way that might be confusing for it's young viewers.
Shots- They also usually don't go lower than an upper body shot.
CLAMPS:
Costume- Costumes tend to not get overly complicated. It will use simple colors, dresses or jeans, maybe a jacket. Nothing in specific.
Lighting- Lighting tends to stay bright, usually warmer in tone.
Acting- Acting is upbeat and engaging, often engaging directly with the viewer.
Sound:
A goofy sound effect will be used here and there, but never to distract from the music or the subject.
Editing:
About half the time, jump cuts and zooms won't be used, purely because the camera will stay in one place. But when it does, it is quick enough to be clear. Or perhaps it is gentle enough to not be overwhelming.
